She was born on January 13, 1927 a daughter of the late Claude and Ina (Klaus) Housel. Mary was married to the late Robert A. Decker and was a longtime employee of the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. She spent countless days at the Wellsboro Diner where the staff became like family to her. She enjoyed reminiscing while looking through old photographs of her and her husband’s travels across the country. She also enjoyed celebrating the holidays with her family and friends.

Mary is survived by a daughter-in-law: Ginger Decker and a granddaughter: Missy Loomis, both of Wellsboro, PA, four great grandchildren: Christian Decker, Jr., Peyton Loomis, Lacey Decker, Gavin Loomis and one great great granddaughter. She was predeceased by a son: David A. Decker in 2017, grandson: Christian Decker, Sr. in 1999 and nine siblings.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 10 to 11 am at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., Wellsboro, PA. www.carletonfh.com Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Kristi Webster officiating. Interment will be in the Niles Valley Cemetery.
