Linda R. (Brooks) Greenfield, age 79, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Monday, September 25, 2023.  She was born on February 1, 1944 in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of the late Jesse and Margaret (Phippen) Brooks and was married to the late James L. Greenfield, Jr.  Linda was formerly employed by the Steak House and the Penn Wells Hotel, both of Wellsboro, PA.  She is survived by a brother: Jerald (Mary) Brooks of Falls, PA, sister: Donna (Frank) Willard of Wellsboro, PA, and a sister-in-law: Janice Brooks of Westfield, PA.  She was predeceased by a sister: Jessie Marie Brabham and a brother: Lloyd Brooks.  A private family graveside service will be held at the West Hill Cemetery, Galeton, PA.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA.
