Wayne J. Singer, age 84, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 as a result of complications from Covid.  He was born on August 15, 1936 in St. Marys, PA, a son of the late Laverne J. and Fairl (Bucheit) Singer and was married for 60 years to Susan R. (Schaut) Singer.  Wayne was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Wellsboro, PA and was the founder of MetalKraft Industries of Wellsboro, PA.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at his camp.  Wayne is survived by his wife: Susan R. Singer of Wellsboro, PA, sons: Jeffrey (Cheryl) Singer of Belleair, FL, Aaron (Lynette) Singer of Wellsboro, PA, Nathan Singer of Wellsboro, PA, daughters: Christine (Peter) Hetzler of Rumson, NJ, Maureen (Glenn) Poirier of Wellsboro, PA, sister-in-law: Mary Singer of St. Marys, PA, 15 grandchildren: Dr. Peter Hetzler, Stephanie Hetzler, Kylie Singer, Alexa Singer, Jacob Singer, Kendall Singer, Elizabeth Poirier, Emma Poirier, Lauren Singer, Kasey Singer, William Poirier, Zachary Singer, Jack Poirier, Stephen Poirier and Dillyn Patt.  He was predeceased by a son: Stephen Singer.  A private family Memorial Mass will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Wellsboro, PA.  Interment will be in West Hill Cemetery, Galeton, PA.  Memorial contributions may be made of the Tioga County Homeless Initiative, 2580 Charleston Rd., Mansfield, PA 16933.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA.
